A Penticton man in need of knee surgery has put out an ad offering to pay to jump the queue.
Bill Binfet's ad reads: "Do You Need Money? I need a new knee replacement, if you are having a knee or hip replacement in the next 30-90 days, I will pay you for your spot, subject to doctor approval."
Needless to say, Binfet's ad raises some legal not to mention ethical questions.
Alison Paine of the Interior Health Authority says she's not sure if Binfet is breaking any laws and adds it's all comes down to what the doctor decides.
