A report to Kelowna City Council Monday suggests a referendum be held next spring to determine if a new swimming pool is built in the Mission.
The staff report recommends the $25 million option consisting of a 25 by 25 metre main pool and large waterpark.
That option will cost taxpayers about 4% on their property taxes.
Several councillors have already said the project should be put to a referendum.
