The City of Vernon is hosting a special meeting of council Thursday to review its 2019 Strategic Plan, to set priorities for 2020 and to set budget targets for 2020.
Highlights from the action plan include a feasibility study for a new Active Living Centre, a plan for the Kin Race Track lands, and a concept that would see the potential closure of 30th Avenue to vehicular traffic downtown.
A one-week trial run is expected sometime in 2020.
