Should Harper Quit?

Stephen Harper opened the door Tuesday to the possibility of relinquishing his leadership of the new Conservative party he helped create and led through a disappointing election campaign. Harper blamed his party's disappointing results on a last-minute shift in Ontario, the key battleground in any federal election campaign, with 106 seats up for grabs. The Conservatives took 24 seats in the province, the Liberals 75, in what had been a Liberal stronghold but was under threat from a newly united right.
