The issue of photo radar was brought up for a second time in the second Central Okanagan Thursday.
During budget deliberations, Kelowna Coun. Gail Given suggested a return to photo radar could help with road safety while also adding fine revenue to city coffers.
The city learned Thursday its share of traffic fine revenue from the province had dropped by $307,000.
Earlier this year, West Kelowna presented a resolution at the Union of BC Municipalities convention, asking that the province to give cities the ability to install the cameras. The resolution passed at the convention.
