B & E in Summerland

Yesterday, the Shell Gas station at 9507 Main St., was robbed. The theft took place in the early morning; the station was closed at the time.

The front door was forced and a suspect then emptied the ATM and stole various brands of cigarette and lottery tickets.

He was wearing:

• a black Nike hoodie
• blue jeans
• grey work boots or runners with yellow soles.

Police are not sure if the man acted alone.

The RCMP are asking anyone who may have information to call the Summerland Detachment at 250-494-7416 or Crime Stoppers at 1-800-222-8477.
