The pre-trial conference for the Penticton man accused of beating to death another man outside Slack Alice’s Show Pub has been continued to Friday.
Discussions are still underway regarding the trial for Michael Beauchamp, which is rapidly approaching.
The six week jury trial is slated to begin on June 17, 2013 in Penticton.
Beauchamp is charged with second degree murder in the death of Terrence Dale Wooley, who was found unconscious outside Slack’s just after midnight on April 25, 2009.
After being escorted outside the back door by staff, following an incident at the bar, Wooley was found suffering from severe head injuries.
He was hospitalized and later died on May 25, 2009 at Moog and Friends Hospice House in Penticton.
