An opportunity to ask people in the know about farm worker topics will be held tonight (Monday) in Oliver.
The event is titled 'A Day on the Farm' and representatives from various organizations will be there to answer questions.
Among those attending are Interior Health, WorkSafe BC, Similkameen Area B-Cawston-BC Fruit Groweers Association, Immigrant and Community Services, the Osoyoos Town Council and Farm and Community Team Okanagan Similkameen, FACTOS.
This event is also a chance for attendees to pick up a draft copy of the "Seasonal Farm Worker Handbook BC South Okanagan and Similkameen."
The booklet is being compiled by the FACTOS committee to inform farm employers and workers about work safety, work habits and work regulations.
The event is at 7 p.m, tonight in Room 2 at the Oliver Community Centre.
