Collaborative brew from all of Penticton's breweries raises thousands for local charitable organization

A collaborative beer from all of Penticton's craft breweries has made a huge difference to a local charity.

Every year during Penticton Beer Week, the breweries come together to create a special brew with partial proceeds from sales going to a worthy organization.

This past year, the brewmasters made the Do Good Hazy IPA in support of Dragonfly Pond Society, which helps children in the community with developmental and medical challenges.

Recently, representatives from the breweries came together to present a cheque for $3,333.20.

"Do Good. It's what we promised to do with our Penticton Beer Week," the Penticton Beer Week organization shared on social media Tuesday.

"We were so honoured to be able to Do Good by donating partial proceeds from this beer to the Dragonfly Pond Society."
