
The Oliver Fire Department will be holding its annual recruiting evaluations at the end of February and is ready for new applicants to join their team.
Tam applications are available at the Oliver Town Hall and the application deadline is Feb.13th.
The selection process consists of three phases: An initial application package, a fitness evaluation and a panel interview.
According to the Oliver Volunteer Fire Rescue Society's website, the department considers qualified candidates; selected and appointed on the basis of education, experience, knowledge, ability and suitability. Preferred candidates are expected to have flexible schedules, be over 19 years of age, reside in the Town of Oliver, and have a valid BC driver's license.
