A fire at an auto wrecking yard in the South Okanagan has damaged a lot of tools.
The Oliver fire department responded to a blaze at 89th Street just after 7 p.m. Monday.
Fire chief Dave Janzen says the blaze damaged three vehicles parked at the lot as well as all of the lot owner’s tools.
“We are still investigating the cause of the fire,” says Janzen.
He says the damage is estimated between $25,000 and $30,000.
Janzen says the property owner had no insurance.
