If you have kids, you probably know Blippi, and families can soon catch the global sensation live on stage at a stop in Penticton.
Blippi: The World Wonderful Tour, will bring its energetic and educational aspects to life on stage at the South Okanagan Events Centre in Penticton on Friday, May 19, 2023.
The popular children's entertainer rose to fame around the world by inspiring curiosity in preschoolers, creating content and experiences that are accessible and make learning fun. Blippi has more than one billion monthly views on YouTube and more than 50 million fans around the globe.
The videos are translated into more than 20 languages and distributed via streaming partners like Netflix, Amazon Prime, and more.
For Blippi: The Wonderful World Tour, the character Blippi will be played by professional stage performers selected specifically for the stage show.
Tickets for the Penticton experience, featuring music, dance, singing, learning, plus monster trucks, excavators and garbage trucks for the ultimate family fun, go on sale Friday, Dec. 16, at 10 a.m.
Tickets range from $24-$95, and can be purchased online here or in person at the Valley First Box Office at the SOEC.
