With the holiday season approaching, the Osoyoos-Penticton BC Transit route has announced additional service in December.
Starting Dec. 2, Route 40, which travels between the two South Okanagan communities, will have an extra trip on Fridays to facilitate day trips to the city.
The bus will leave Osoyoos at 8:30 a.m. and arrive at Penticton Cherry Lane Mall at 9:45 a.m., with stops along the way in Oliver, Okanagan Falls and Kaleden.
The return trip will leave Penticton at 1:30 p.m. and make it back to Osoyoos by 2:30 p.m.
The added service will take place on Dec. 2, 9, 16 and 23. It is in addition to regular Route 40 service.
