Ringo Starr has cancelled his upcoming tour date in Penticton to allow him to recuperate from COVID-19.

Starr was due to perform at the South Okanagan Events Centre on Oct. 9. Unfortunately, that date and four other upcoming Canadian dates will no longer go forward.

"Ringo hopes to resume as soon as possible and is recovering at home. As always, he and the All Starrs send peace and love to their fans and hope to see them back out on the road soon," reads a press release issued Monday.

Contact the [email protected] if a credit card refund has not occurred by Thursday, November 3, 2022.

For cash and debit purchases, refunds can only be issued in person at the Valley First Box Office at the SOEC Monday to Friday, 10 a.m. to 4:00 p.m., with the exception of the upcoming Thanksgiving Monday.

All refunds must be completed by Wednesday, November 30, 2022. Contact the box office if you have questions at [email protected] or at 250-276-2144.
