Agur Lake Camp’s Charity Golf Day united the community and raised a bunch of money to support B.C.’s only barrier-free wilderness campground this weekend.
Sponsors, volunteers and golfers raised $7,500, then one lucky golfer made the day even more special.
Len Filek was the $10,000 hole-in-one winner of the day, and decided to match the money raised, bringing the total to $15,000.
Agur Lake is located west of Summerland, and is the only campground that is accessible for families with people with diverse abilities.
The money raised will go directly to operating costs for Agur Lake Camp. To learn more about the Society and Agur Lake Camp, visit: agurlakecamp.ca
