A milestone has been reached for Oliver firefighters, celebrating 100 years of being a fire department.
The department will be hosting two celebrations on the same day to honour the past century of work.
"During the day we will be having an open house family event, with hall tours, live fire demonstrations and much more. So bring the family down and check things out. This is a free event," The OFD shared on Facebook.
During the evening, the department will be having a licensed and ticketed event, which will include live music, drinks from local wineries, beer and ciders, and burgers.
Tickets are now on sale for $10 and you must be of legal drinking age to attend.
"We can't wait to see you there and celebrate with us."
The event celebration kicks off on July 9 at 11 a.m.
