A semi truck that was heading east along Hwy 3A was seen on its side near the Kaleden turn off on to Hwy 97 on Thursday morning.
Traffic is seen to be moving through the area from video caught by an Okanagan resident around 11 a.m.
The areas along Hwy 97 and Hwy 3A near the junction have seen continuous accidents as of late, prompting the Ministry of Transportation to upgrade the area with a protected turn lane and the other safety improvements after years of complaints, concerns and a petition from local residents.
