Car salesman facing drug charges

A Penticton man is facing drug charges after being arrested on Friday.

The 55-year-old man was arrested in a hotel parking lot on Lakeshore Drive.

Corporal Brad Myhre says he was found to be in possession of cocaine packaged for street level sales and trafficking paraphernalia.

“He was later released on bail to appear in court on March 3, facing charges of trafficking in cocaine and possession of cocaine for the purpose of trafficking,” says Myhre.

He says a subsequent search of a residence on Burns Street turned up more cocaine.

Myhre says the man claims to be gainfully employed as a car salesman.
