Woman tries to sell drugs to cops

A man and woman are facing drug charges in Penticton.

Corporal Brad Myhre says a 21-year-old woman was arrested on Friday for cocaine trafficking.

“She met plainclothes officers under the pretext of selling them cocaine. She faces three charges including possession of crystal methamphetamine,” says Myhre.

He says the woman was released on bail to appear in court on January 28.

"A drug search warrant was executed on the 700 block of Toronto Avenue on Friday, resulting in the arrest of a 32-year-old man."

Myhre says the man was already on bail for trafficking offences from 2007.

“He is facing several new charges after police located drugs, ammunition, and almost $12,000 cash. He was held for court on Monday, January 2l."
