A team up between the Oliver and Osoyoos RCMP nabbed an offender who has numerous warrants out for his arrest on Sunday evening.
Oliver Sgt. Don Wrigglesworth shared that this male has been a huge problem in Oliver, Willowbrook and Keremeos.
Officers were able to apprehend him on numerous warrants at a hotel in Osoyoos without incident this past weekend.
Arjen Jessy Alexander Huber, is now being held in custody after compiling 28 charges in the past 10 months.
“I know that my officers and the people of this community will be much safer knowing that this criminal has finally been locked up," Wrigglesworth said in an email.
RCMP apprehended the property offender with a 'strong propensity toward violence', with charges including willfully resisting or obstructing a peace officer, possessing a firearm without a licence or registration, flight from police while operating a motor vehicle, uttering threats and possession of a controlled substance, among others.
Wrigglesworth added that several charges will still be going forward for a number of other offences committed by Huber, just to add to the long list.
Huber remains in jail awaiting a Jan. 25 court date.
