Penticton man eyeing new truck, new place to stay after $100K Scratch & Win ticket windfall

A Penticton man is counting his lucky stars after a $100,000 windfall on a Scratch & Win ticket.

Mukhtar Arifov purchased a BCLC Snowflake 777 ticket from Cherry Lane Mall and scratched it while there, and couldn't believe his good fortune.

"I realized I won so I went back and said, ‘I won!’ and asked the cashier to check it,” he said.

Arifov says the money will be a "big change," and he has his eye on a Chevrolet truck.

"I am now able to buy a vehicle and a better place."
