The Town of Osoyoos has issued a boil water notice related to a water twinning project underway by TwinCon Enterprises Ltd.
Sampling shows bacteria of concern, and as a result the following areas should boil water for consumption, washing food, making beverages or ice and brushing teeth:
- Oleander Drive from Highway 97 to Jasmine Drive
- Lobelia Drive from Oleander to 32nd Avenue
- Jasmine Drive from Oleander to 32nd Avenue
- Wildflower Court from 32nd Avenue to end of the Road
- 32nd Avenue from Highway 97 to swiws Provincial Park
Tap water should be boiled for a minimum of one minute before use, or find a safe alternative for the time being.
