Sweet cat wants his home

A cat that was hanging around the Copper Mug Pub in Penticton has been picked up by the Critteraid Animal Sanctuary and they're trying to find his owners.

Mugsy was reported as a stray in the early part of September, hiding under the pub's patio. Critteraid worked over several nights to catch the young man.

"We haven't been able to locate Mugsy's parents yet, so we're hoping somebody is still looking for this incredible cat," Critteraid Animal Director Jess Byer said.

Unfortunately, Mugsy picked up some injuries and scars when he was out as a street cat, but he is recovering well.

Byer explained that he is very friendly and it's clear he had a loving home before being outside.

"We are hoping somebody is looking for this amazing kitty or would like to adopt him."

If you know who Mugsy belongs to or are interested in meeting him, send Critteraid an email to find out more at [email protected]
