It's Election Day, and constituents in the South Okanagan-West Kootenay riding have five candidates to choose from.
In the previous federal election, the riding was very close with Conservative challenger Helena Konanz losing by fewer than 800 votes to incumbent NDP Richard Cannings.
This year most of the same candidates have returned to the ticket, with the exception of new Liberal candidate Ken Robertson.
Castanet conducted Q&As with each of the five candidates over the past week. Read them here:
Richard Cannings, NDP (incumbent)
Helena Konanz, Conservative Party
Tara Howse, Green Party
Ken Robertson, Liberal Party
Sean Taylor, People's Party of Canada
