The Restaurant at Phantom Creek Estates opens on Saturday

Time to enjoy Phantom food

The winery at Phantom Creek Estates has been open in Oliver for a year, and now its restaurant is ready to do the same.

The Restaurant at Phantom Creek Estates will start serving patrons this Saturday, June 12.

“The food at Phantom Creek Estates is in perfect harmony with everything that we do at the winery,” Phantom Creek Estates director Anahita Pouget said in a press release. “Accessing the best and freshest seasonal ingredients is always a great start, but the ability to transform them into dishes that leave you wondering just how it was all brought together is the true beauty of an unforgettable meal and a reflection of the talent of a brilliant chef.”

Canadian-born chef Sarah Fiore, who has worked at Michelin-starred Estela in New York City, will be in charge of the restaurant, which will be located on the south side of the winery.

The menu at The Restaurant at Phantom Creek Estates will include offerings like beef tartare with 63 Acres Beef, burrata with charred and pickled Mutsu apples, risotto with spring legumes, poached sablefish and aged duck.

The Restaurant at Phantom Creek Estates will be open Thursday through Monday from 11:30 a.m. to 3 p.m. for lunch service only.
