A recently released list from Expedia names Canada’s 20 friendliest places to visit, and Osoyoos made the cut.
Built from traveller reviews from January 2019 to December 2020, the list is based on cities and towns with the highest percentage of positive comments mentioning words like "friendly, friendliest, amiable.”
The list also hopes to give tourists an idea of where to visit for a warm welcome when restrictions allow.
Five BC towns made the list, with Osoyoos coming in at number 12.

In addition to highlighting the most amicable places, Expedia stated that “these outdoorsy and smaller cities and towns are right in line with Expedia's future travel trends, as travellers look for domestic and provincial options that provide more room to spread out, once travel resumes again.”
