South Okanagan family farmers release country tune about organic farming

A group of farmers from rural Cawston are sharing their love of organic farming through a new country song they have titled "Apple Blossom Glory."

They call themselves The Organic Humans, and they wrote the song in order to celebrate organic farming and life in general.

"It's a darn catchy New Country song and getting tons of love from our community here in Cawston B.C. in the Similkameen Valley, 'The Capital of Organic Farming,'" said band member Margaret Macdonald.

Macdonald added the song will be featured in an upcoming documentary about organic farming, due out this year.

The band has just recently released the tune and is in the process of putting it on Spotify and other media streaming services, but for now, it can be found on YouTube.
