Penticton Lakeside Resort's outdoor rink available only through bookings

Beach rink no longer public

Penticton Lakeside Resort's outdoor rink has had to move their ice rink availability away from public use after direction from Interior Health (IH). The rink will be available by reservation only and for same household use only.

Updates on use of the rink and further details may change after the Provincial Health Order (PHO) update expected on Monday.

Ice rink bookings will be available starting early next week with an expected open date of Friday, Dec. 11.

COVID-19 safety protocols will be in place including deep cleaning, sanitization and contact tracing.

The complimentary ice bookings are available for 45 minute increments, with a maximum of one reservation per day, up to seven days or less in advance for no charge.

Paid ice bookings run for two hours and can be made any time up until 72 hours in advance, with a minimum $75 Barking Parrot food and beverage spend.

Family packages (for locals from the same household), are still launching for bookings starting next week and include two nights accommodation with two hours private ice time, including a hot chocolate and s'mores kit and a movie night with snacks and goodies in the room.

Since all ice rink use is by reservation, the Lakeside will have the fire pit operating any time the ice rink is in use.
