A pedestrian on a scooter was hit at the intersection of Wade Avenue and Winnipeg Street in Penticton Saturday afternoon at around 2:20 p.m.
According to Captain Taylor with the Penticton Fire Department, the woman was knocked over after being hit by the car and has sustained minor injuries from the incident.
The women is being brought to hospital for further assessment.
Traffic in the area is still flowing.
