Doting cat in need of home

Minnie is a very affectionate cat at the Critteraid Animal Sanctuary in Summerland, looking for a new home.

Critteraid is looking for a safe, quiet indoor life for this sweet kitty, and an owner who has lots of affection. 

“Somebody who’s home more often and can give her a lot of love and attention,” Critteraid animal director Jess Byer said,

Minnie is between eight months and a year old, brought in with her 23 sisters. 

“She does over-lick, so you do have to be aware that she could irritate some of the skin. We do always want to make sure people understand that there’s behaviour to work with when you have  cats that have been through trauma.” 

While the cats were brought out of a tough situation, Byer says they have a lot of love to give.
