C.C. Jentsch Cellars in Oliver is donating 100 per cent of its viognier case sale to charity

Buy a case for a good cause

Case of wine for a good cause?

C.C. Jentsch Cellars announced Friday that their new wine promotion with buying a case of Viognier will have all proceeds from the sale go towards Highway to Healing Support Society (H2H).

“My wife, Betty and I were trying to think of a way that we could help H2H raise money for their very worthwhile cause,” said Chris Jentsch, owner of C.C. Jentsch Cellars in a press release.

“We have allocated 100 cases of our Double Gold Winning 2016 Viognier and are selling it for an unbeatable price.”

The sale is $200 + taxes per case of 12, and is available for curbside pickup.

“It is the perfect blend of great tasting wine combined with a worthwhile cause,” Tony Munday, vice president of H2H, stated in the press release.“We were ecstatic when Chris and Betty approached us with the idea. We are so thankful to them for their support.”

The mission for H2H is to assist families in the communities of Osoyoos, Oliver and Okanagan Falls, who have a child requiring medical care that is not locally available.

C.C. Jentsch is closed to tasting, but the special promotion can be ordered through the online store. You can also call the winery at 778-439-2391.
