RCMP seek man who performed indecent act near Penticton park

Indecent act near park

Penticton RCMP are seeking the public's help in identifying a man caught performing an indecent act near a park Wednesday.

On June 24 at 5 p.m., officers were alerted to a report of a man engaging in what a police news release only calls an "indecent act," without providing further details.

He was located near a park in the 1000 block of Nelson Avenue in Penticton.

Officers conducted extensive patrols for the man, but were unable to locate him.

Investigators are asking anyone who can help identify the suspect, or has any information about the incident, to contact the Penticton RCMP at 250-492-4300, or Crime Stoppers 1-800-222-8477.

The suspect is described as Caucasian, 30-40 years of age, beige shirt and shorts, long brown hair and a fishing hat.
