A number of wineries on the Naramata Bench are reopening

Winery tasting rooms open

As COVID-19 measures are slowly relaxed across British Columbia, Naramata Bench wineries are reopening their doors for those looking to get a taste of what the wine region has to offer.

A number of wineries have reopened their tasting rooms under new protocols, in adherence with government guidelines around physical distancing. As a result, some wineries will require booking tastings ahead of time.

“What’s changed is the reopening of our tasting rooms with enhanced safety protocols around social distancing, reserving ahead, group size, and sanitizing procedures,” the Naramata Bench Wineries Association said in a press release.

“Each winery has put in place a COVID-19 Safety Plan in adherence with Government regulations and guidelines for safe and worry free wine tasting experiences.”

A full list of the wineries on the bench that are now opened, along with their hours of operation, can be found here.

“Expect the tasting experience to be a bit more structured and to take a bit more time, treat this as an opportunity to savour and enjoy the experience,” the association said.
