RCMP responded to a sudden death in Summerland Monday morning.
Just after 10:30 a person was found dead in a van parked on the side of Solly Road.
The case is being investigated by the Kelowna Major Crime Unit, the Penticton Forensic Ident Section, the Penticton Dog Section and the Provincial Coroners Service.
Summerland RCMP Sergeant, Rick Bigland, says no further details are available at this time.
"More information might be made public by Tuesday, but I can't give out anything else right now," says Bigland.
He says Solly Road is a residential area, but it's not known if a resident reported the body.
