Sunshine Cabaret Returns

Penticton’s music in the park program, Sunshine Cabaret, will be back this summer.

City council decided earlier this to put aside $20,000 for the program, which has local musicians perform in Nanaimo Square during lunch hours.

Executive Director of the Downtown Penticton Association, Nora Haft, says the program also features performances in Gyro Park and Skaha Lake Park.

She says outdoor performances enhance public spaces and help build community culture.
