Yard Waste Collection Dates

The Regional District of the Okanagan Similkameen has announced the yard waste pickup dates for 2007.

Pick up in Penticton, Naramata, Kaledeen, West Bench and Redwing area, Carmi, Falconridge, lakeshore Highlands and Heritage Hills will be April 2-7, May 14-19, June 25-30, August 13-18, September 24-29 and November 5-10.

For Oliver, Rural Oliver, Green Mountain Road and the Cawston area, the pick dates are: April 9-14, May 21-26, July 2-7, August 20-25, October 1-6 and November 19-24.

In Okanagan Falls, Olalla, Keremeos and Hedley, the dates are: April 16-21, May 28-June 2, July 9-14. August 27-September 1, October 8-13 and November 19-24.

All yard waste must be in clear bags or bundle prunings, with a maximum weight of each item of 25 kg. Bundles are to be no longer than 1 metre and must be tied with string or twine.

Items must be set out by 7 am Monday during collection weeks.
