It was a full house at the opening of the newest Okanagan College campus Friday.
Special guests included MLA Bill Barisoff and Councillor Rory McIvor, who came to congratulate college officials on the accomplishment.
Okanagan College President, Jim Hamilton, says the new building, located on Martin Street in Penticton, will be a great benefit to the institution.
“With the opening of this new building, we are becoming a bigger part of the Penticton community and will be able to help more students reach their goals,” says Hamilton.
The new building will feature classes in the trades, such as plumbing, electrical work and welding.
