Osoyoos has activated its Level 1 Emergency Operations Centre

Osoyoos opens EOC

The Town of Osoyoos has taken new measures in the face of the COVID-19 pandemic.

The town announced Monday afternoon it has activated its Level 1 Emergency Operations Centre.

In response to the outbreak, Osoyoos is also closing a number of city facilities to the public until further notice.

These include:

Building inspections can be arranged by calling the office and making an appointment.

  • ALL public washrooms
  • Skateboard Park/Dog Park
  • Kinsmen Park Playground/Lions Park Playground
  • Pickleball Courts

Sunrise Marina and Parks will remain open at this time, but people are to practice social distancing and physical separation.
 
Town staff continue to work during regular scheduled office hours to bring services to the community and to perform necessary maintenance. Essential services are being maintained.

An information line has been set up at town hall specifically for COVID-19 response inquiries.  This number 250-495-4635 will be available Monday to Friday from 8:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m.
