Expect delays when travelling on Apex Mountain today, AIM Roads says.

The road contractor for the South Okanagan region says Ministry of Transportation and Infrastructure will be conducting avalanche control work in the area Thursday.

They say to expect delays, tentatively between 11 a.m. and 2 p.m.

An AIM representative says they were not given any more specific information from MoTI as to target areas for the work, but will update when they learn more.

Castanet has also reached out to MoTI.
