S'Land Snow Levels

It could be a very wet spring for Summerland residents.

Water distribution officer for Summerland, Scott Lee, says the snow pack levels in the area are above average for this time of year.

He says the levels at Headwaters Lake are 132 per cent of normal and the levels at Isintok Lake are at 95 per cent.

Lee says readings taken at the end of February and again at the start of this month indicate Summerland's reservoirs will be easily filled this year.

He says the levels are higher than they have been for the last 10 years.
