The Oliver Fire Department undertook some hands-on training Friday.
Crews lit up their mobile home training unit for one last big, intense training burn.
"It’s time for one last burn and a great practice on protecting 'exposures,' that’s what we call the buildings next to the burning structure," reads a post from OFD on Facebook about the procedure.
"Training such as this is invaluable to our members as it shows them the different fire dynamics that occur during a large structure fire."
