A South Okanagan man is facing charges of attempted murder for an alleged incident last spring.
Hunter Kruger, 25, was scheduled in Penticton court Wednesday on three counts sworn on May 18 for an incident alleged to have occurred the day prior. Police did not announce the charges when they were laid.
Court documents show Kruger is charged with one count of possession of a shotgun for a dangerous purpose, unlawfully pointing a firearm at a person and attempted murder with a firearm.
Richard Hall is named as the alleged victim on the attempted murder charge. The Crown alleges the incident happened in or near Oliver on May 17.
Kruger is currently out on bail and has made only procedural court appearances so far, with the exception of his bail hearing. He will be back in court Nov. 15 for an application to vary his bail conditions.
