Reel Youth Film Festival at Shatford Centre

The results of a festival based on youth filmmaking will be screened for free in Penticton. 

The Reel Youth Film Festival showcases work from young filmmakers around the world. NIneteen short films were selected by an international youth jury out of 1,300 submissions from 100 countries. 

The submissions were then curated, "packed with humour, courage, and inspiration for viewers of all ages, and shows you the world through the eyes of an emerging group of gifted filmmakers."

Pentictonites will have the chance to view the films for free this month. 

On Thursday, Oct. 10 at 7 p.m. at the Shatford Centre, everyone is welcome to see a screening.

This compelling collection is packed with humour, courage, and inspiration for viewers of all ages, and shows you the world through the eyes of an emerging group of gifted filmmakers.
