An air rescue briefly closed Highway 3A near Twin Lakes Saturday afternoon.
On Aug. 24 at approximately 1 p.m. RCMP responded to a cyclist in distress just east of Twin Lakes on the highway.
BC Air Ambulance landed and safely transported the male in his 50s to hospital for urgent medical attention.
The road was closed for approximately one hour during that operation.
