Some of the biggest, baddest trucks around rolled into Penticton Friday ahead of a massive monster truck event at the Penticton Speedway this weekend.
On Saturday and Sunday night, the trucks will take over the track performing high-adrenaline tricks and crushing anything that gets in their way.
Some lucky folks got a sneak peek of the beasts when they made a pit stop at the Canadian Tire parking lot Friday afternoon. Kids posed for photos and got an up-close look at just how huge those wheels are.
If you missed the photo op, not to worry. The trucks will be around the Speedway starting at 6 p.m. when the doors open before the 7 p.m. show start on both Saturday and Sunday nights.
The evenings also include regular racing like hit-to-pass and street stocks.
Tickets can be purchased at the gate and are $25 for adults, $20 for seniors and youth. Kids 10 and under are free as always.
