Osoyoos Ribfest, originally scheduled for this weekend, has been cancelled.
Destination Osoyoos made the announcement Thursday on Facebook. The event was slated to run Friday to Sunday in Gyro Park.
Destination Osoyoos did not provide a reason the weekend was cancelled. The organizer of the event, Ribfest Canada, could not immediately be reached for comment.
Those in the South Okanagan craving ribs will have to wait until Canada Day Long Weekend, when Rotary Ribfest swings through Penticton.
