Castanet readers have said they are still experiencing power outages.

Communications manager Philip Cooper said this may be normal following a major service disruption.

They say they are flooded with calls, and crews are at work on fixing the problem. No estimated time yet for power to be restored.

Several apartments and businesses along Fairview Road are without power, including the Tim Hortons and Shell at the base of the road near the Channel Parkway, but Castanet is still working to find the full scope of the outage.
