Service members working on a CH-149 Cormorant at the Penticton Airport
The Canadian Air Force was at the Penticton Airport Friday for training exercises.
A CH-149 Cormorant helicopter was undergoing maintenance work, with parts being flown in by a CC-115 Buffalo fixed-wing aircraft.
A military spokesperson tells Castanet search-and-rescue crews conduct “remain overnight” exercises at airports throughout B.C., where teams fly into various airports for night and carry out training in a local area.
Both aircraft are now on their way out of Penticton.
