The Oliver Fire Department responded to an apparently abandoned truck on fire early Tuesday morning.
The blaze took place on Osoyoos Indian Band Land in a brush area off any roadways, according to OFD spokesperson Rob Graham.
"Crews were quick on scene and able to extinguish all the fire before if could get into dry brush," Graham said.
He said RCMP were called in to investigate the incident.
Crews were on scene for about an hour.
