More volunteers are needed to watch the kettles.
The Salvation Army's annual Kettle Campaign kicked off in Penticton last week but more people are needed to man the bright red kettles.
According to officials, between 25 and 30 people are still needed to spend a few hours a week collecting spare change for the organization.
Last year's campaign brought in about $50,000 and organizers hope to match that this year.
For more information about volunteering, contact the Salvation Army Church on South Main Street at 492-6494.
